How I engage actors is simple: whatever works best for you . I watch and I listen. What is most important to work on will become apparent. I may recommend contemporary or Shakespearean scenes, depending on how you're progressing. If you can get your mind, body, and voice around classical text, you'll be able to play any lawyer, doctor or cop on prime-time TV. My strong focus will always be on the development of presence. I believe that this is something that can be instilled. I attend to the whole actor. Classes are held Wednesday nights at 7 in Sherman Oaks, at the Feinstein-Tuerpe Studio, 13273 Ventura Blvd, Suite 212. Come visit at no charge!
